The event has now ended. Many thanks to all the participants and visitors for creating such a memorable and enjoyable week.

Visitors explored the exhibitions and galleries, with paintings, sculptures, ceramics, drawings and photographs. They saw stone carvings, ceramic panels and wrought ironwork in outdoor settings. They enjoyed poetry workshops and readings and joined other artists and explored the possibilities of an 'Artwalk'. The week culminating in a film screening and social evening.

Studio House

Studio House in the centre of Alston, adjacent to the Market Cross, was the central information point for Arts on High. It featured an exhibition showcasing the work of all the participating artists and makers, plus leaflets, brochures and a map to help visitors on their trail.
